The John Christian Company, founded in 1971, is Michigan's largest manufacturer of custom loose leaf binders, mylar index tabs, and mechanically bound books.
The Company's primary mission is twofold; to provide products and services that are built to a higher standard and to overwhelmingly delight its customers with continuous innovations and quality improvement.
With an expanding reputation for large, distinctive binder and binding programs, John Christian has grown to over 100 operating personnel with 2 plants and 3 warehouses totaling over 75,000 square feet.
John Christian operates numerous wire-O, spiral, mylar tab, collator, drilling, and shrink- wrapping machines on a two shift daily basis, as well as a "state of the art" vinyl manufacturing and decorating equipment. John Christian also offers A full service Die Cutting department with complete folding and glueing capabilities. John Christian makes now or has made numerous products for GM, Chrysler, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes, Saturn, Volkswagen, and Hummer. Its Non-automotive clients include many of the nation's publication printers and advertising agencies.
John Christian is Michigan's only ISO 9001:2000 registered bindery and one of three in The United States. As a result of superior quality initiatives, John Christian has been the recipient of Chrysler Corporation's "Gold Pentastar" award and "Quality Excellence" award.
